A thermostat is incorporated into the flueless centurion to control temperature levels within the room, there are six settings to allow you to select the comfort level you want Patented catalytic technology ensures any CO emissions are convertrd to harmless carbon dioxide.

Installation The fire must be installed by a CORGI registered installer, in accordance with the installation instructions. This appliance must be used in conjunction with a non-combustible back panel capable of withstanding 150°C, and a non-combustible hearth of at least 12mm thickness, projecting a minimum of 100mm in front of the appliance. If a surround is to be used, this must also be capable of withstanding 150°C. The appliance may be installed as a 'hole in the wall' fire, whereby it does not require a hearth, providing it is mounted at least 6" (150mm) from floor level. A suitable non combustible ledge would be required, for placement of the cast fire front. Combustible shelves no greater than 100mm in depth must not be positioned closer than 71/2" (195mm) from the top of the appliance. Combustible shelves no greater than 180mm in depth must not be positioned closer than 10" (255mm) to the top of the appliance. Room sizing and ventilation requirements As this flueless fire requires no chimney or flue, it is essential that it is used in a correctly sized room with sufficient ventilation to ensure correct operation. This appliance must be installed in a room no smaller than 40m°, (i.e. 14' x 14' x 7'6") with an openable window or louvre, and purpose provided ventilation of at least 100cm2; (conversion formula (35.3 cu ft = 1m°). This appliance is for use with Natural Gas only. This appliance is suitable for installation in timber framed dwellings - refer to installation manual. This appliance must not be installed in bedrooms or bathrooms. Gas connection is via 8mm pipe to isolation elbow positioned to right hand side of appliance. WARNING: As with any gas fire, a fireguard must be fitted when the fire is used in the presence of children, the elderly or infirm.					Centurion gas fires require no chimney or flue and are 100% Efficient. Catalytic technology has been utilised to "clean" the products of combustion and as a result, this fire can be installed almost anywhere there is a natural gas supply (Excludes bedrooms or bathrooms). Optional remote control provides full control of the flames from the comfort of your arm chair.
