The new Elysče Powaflue has the additional advantage of an external
fan terminal that can be partially recessed. This is particularly
usefull when the terminal is to be fitted near paths, driveways
or where the boundary of your land is close to the property
wall. There are two basic forms of installation for the fire
element of these appliances. 1.The fire can be simply installed
with its back against the wall, its depth is then taken up either
by an extra deep surround or by building a false chimney breast.
The false chimney breast is often favoured because it creates
recesses on either side which lend themselves to being shelved
or helping to create a more traditional style of installation.
2. The fire can be recessed into the inner leaf of the cavity
wall providing a flush fitting which may easily be used with
a standard depth of fire surround. This option is particularly
usefull where space is at a premium as intrusion into the room
is minimised
